27 Feb Larch Removal: Going, Going, Gone
This week, the TTS team carried out a Larch removal on this job in Perthshire.
Our images show the stages of the removal process. On the face of it, the Larch tree looks good – especially in its current setting. But, looks can be deceptive; the tree had a bad split in it, which would deteriorate through time and eventually cause it to die and fall. With a house adjacent, it was necessary to remove the whole tree, as a preventative meausure.
Sadly, it therefore had to be removed. TTS arborists removed the tree in sub-zero temperatures, preventing damage to the nearby house and potentially injury to man.
Dangerous trees are the responsibility of the property owner and need to be attended to, to prevent damage to the public or assets. For more on dangerous trees, read our blog on “How do you know if a tree is dangerous”.
